Epic
I quite like this concept but i think i want to push it a little further and move away from the rectangular forms.
so this is the concept. I quite like the operation behind how it opens, its quite novel. However this operation only doubles the desk space of the original box so im now going to work on increasing this.
I also need to start working on the aesthetics i planed to have that finished by the end of this week.
the model worked however it needed struts to support it so i tried some different types of struts
but overall i felt these concepts were going to be unpractical and the whole idea behind the product is suppose to be its ease of use so i made some more models.....
So ive been neglecting my blog this past week. My progress on the studio project has been minimal. Ive been procrastinating focusing on viscom and hypermedia instead which are both coming along nicely.
I have been looking at and creating some concepts around the mechanism as to how the the workstation will unfold but im torn between novelty, aesthetics and practicality. I also need to start making some test rigs.
I have been logging my productivity over the past project and i made a little graph so you can see the dates are around the edge and 'm' stands for morning and 'a' stands for afternoon and each day ive given myself a rating out of 10 as to how productive i was.
So the spikes on the graph was when i was working well around the first part of the graph and then there is this general decline towards todays date at which point im averaging a 57.4% productivity rate.So im hoping especially considering the project due dates are coming up in the next couple of weeks that the graph will start to incline and get some 100% productivity days.
also just a note i considered when i was in a lecture, class or at work that the productivity rating was 5
